Reagan was born in SW Florida and raised in the swamps of the Everglades, instilling a deep connection with mother nature and animals of all kinds. This appreciation for the natural world inspired her to pursue her Bachelors of Science in Global Environmental Science at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
In 2015, this same connection pulled Reagan to move to Nosara where she lived on-site and worked as the Assistant Director of SIBU Wildlife Sanctuary. Subsequently she became deeply involved with several local wildlife conservation projects, and eventually broadened her involvement to include human-focused causes through her work with the Nosara Food Bank. Presently, she is an active community member of Friends of Nosara, Nosara Food Bank, Nosara Civic Association Trails Committee, and TortuGuiones.
It is the small town sense of community, rural lifestyle, and the towns intimate connection with nature that keeps Reagan in awe of Nosara.
